Rams wants break-out NFL year sign NFL star Atogwe to multi-year deal

In an effort to avoid a bad year in the next National Football League season the St. Louis Rams has signed veteran NFL safety Oshiomogho Atogwe to a lucrative five-year contract. Atogwe an unrestricted free agent was signed by the Rams in an effort to avoid their NFL-worst 1-15 record in 2009.
Rams Coach Steve Spagnuolo revealed they decided to bring Atogwe back since he had been a vital part of the team since they drafted him in the third round (66th overall) in the 2005 NFL draft.

The 29-year-old Atogwe has started 60 of 72 career games. In his NFL career Atogwe is known for his ball-hawking skills, with 19 career interceptions and 19 forced fumbles. The past NFL season, he was second on the team with 82 tackles despite missing the final four games with a shoulder injury.
He also had one sack, two interceptions, three passes defended, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He had eight interceptions in 2007 and five in 2008. Spagnuoulo said they are confident Atogwe could bring a lot of difference for the team with his veteran leadership and skill.

The Rams coach signing Atogwe is one of the greatest things that ever happen in the NFL franchise. He hoped everything will work out well for the Rams in the next NFL season. The NFL coach is optimistic that the team will have a great and break-out year in the next NFL season. Atogwe for his part is very happy with his new deal. The NFL star said he always wanted to return to the team that drafted him and he is happy he was able to realize it.
He vowed to give his 100 percent effort to help the cause of the Rams in the next NFL season. With Atogwe part of the Rams roster the next season of the NFL promises to be a slam-bang affair for professional football fans around the world.
