Re-thinking sports marketing now that fans are in charge

Team Digital Business Summits 2009
Coming to Midwest, West, Northeast

Learn how NBA, NHL, NFL and MLB clubs are making money online...and how you can too

I am excited to announce that we'll be holding Series of 1/2 day, regional conferences focused on the digital side of team sports. These events have one goal: to help teams increase revenues from digital media. To do this we will need all departments in the room: sales, marketing, Web, tickets and senior management. Unlike other conferences that focus on larger public media properties, this is all about team-level business.

Follow the registration links below to read more information for each event. We've got a great cross-section of speakers from teams as well as sports media Websites.

Who should attend?

Sponsorship sales, marketing, ticketing or new media execs working at pro or college sports teams

May 20 - New York

May 28 - Chicago:

June 4 - San Francisco:

If you do not work for a team, but you want to attend, you might purchase an "at large" ticket to one of these events...only five "at large: tickets available to each event.

For info, or to reserve an "At Large" ticket to any of these three events:

We're also planning a meetup in each city
For Sports 2.0 members who can't make these meetings, we will hold meetups in each city - probably on the evening prior to each event. More details on meetups coming soon.

Will you do another event in NYC this summer? Would love to come, but can't make the May date. Perhaps an NYC networking event in June or July? This is a great resource- keep up the good work!
