Redskins Tweets at FedExField

In the past 2 weeks we have launched phases 2 and 3 (sort of) of Redskins Twackle/Redskins on Twitter.

Phase 2 - We now have a module on the homepage of Redskins.com which shows the latest tweets from our team's writers which also can drive people to RedskinsTwackle.com to see the latest trends and tweets about the Redskins.

Phase 3 - During our home opener we debuted a new area in our club level called the Audi Club. In the Audi Club we had 4 60 inch LCD tv's showing the… Continue

Shri,
Panels are pretty well set, but we could use more brand marketers / interactive agencies to attend. I see you're ALL OVER linked in...so YES, please invite anyone you can think of to join the community...planning another summit in SF in March...and others in Chgo, Atl, etc.

Hi Shripal,
Pat Croce, former owner of the Philadelpgia 76er's is one of our new investors and suggested I contact people in your position to make them aware of the flimp platform.
eVideo direct mktg. and communications is a great way for pro teams to communicate with season ticket holders, luxury suite owners, fans, etc.
Much more engaging than static html campaigns. Every campaign is tracked and reports back by individual email address who watched what; how long; what call to action buttons did they click; did they send to a friend; etc....
Examples can be found on www.flimp.net
Thanks,
Terry Whelan

Hi Shripal,
Just a quick re-introduction. Our Marketing Platform makes it quick/easy to Create, Send, and Track "video messages" for the purpose of Direct Mktg. and Communications. Google says engagement goes up 4 - 7 times when adding video to your email campaigns. No expensive Programming needed.
Please check us out at www.flimp.net

Hi Shripal!
What's up? I sent you a friend request. My name is Larry and I am a sports artist. I have done much work with professional athletes. My work is very unique in that I paint directly on items of sports equipment/memorabilia. Please keep me in mind with regard to the Redskins. You can visit my pic galleries to see examples of my work or simply go to www.larryklu.com. Being from Pittsburgh, I was very sad to see Willie Parker go. I have met him a few times and he is familiar with my work. He is a classy young man. Good luck to you and hope to hear back from you regarding artistic endeavors. Thanks.

Hi Shripal,

My name is Brian Freeland and I am the Program Director of Sports Management at American Public University. I have an Industry Advisory Council that meets once a year in Reston, Va. There are about 10 to 12 individuals that make up the council. All of them have jobs in the sports industry and we meet to brainstorm about ways to improve our degree program. Any interest? Here is a link to our website: http://www.apu.apus.edu/academic/programs/masters

Thanks,

Brian

Steelers vs. Cowboys in social media co-opetition

Finally, two sports teams that get it! The Steelers face the Cowboys this Sunday in Dallas, and thanks to some clever work by each team’s digital crews, the franchises are competing in social media spheres as well. Steelers & Cowboys are evenly matched in both realms. Both teams have 7-6 records this season, and they’re [...]

Email Power Rankings for MLB teams

How did E mail become the “other” white meat? While everyone is going crazy over social media, I suspect Email is getting overlooked and underutilized by many professional sports teams. With this suspicion on my brain I set out recently to do a little research using baseball teams as my subjects. The results of my [...]

College sports fans blame carriers for poor connectivity at stadiums

Want to get your wireless partner to pay for connectivity upgrades at your stadium? Show them this… ….Ninety-nine percent of smart phone owners have experienced trouble calling or connecting at sports stadiums, and (as a result) sixty-eight percent of these fans think less positively about their wireless carriers. That’s right, fans don’t blame the team [...]

College fans like Twitter more than Facebook for sports

If America’s major universities want to engage avid sports fans during live events, they should pay more attention to Twitter than Facebook, and they should forget about Foursquare altogether; At least what our data seem to be saying. As part of our ongoing “Social Sports Poll,” we recently surveyed social media fans and followers of [...]
