New York Knicks on Tumblr

Hi! Tumblr is a micro-blog service, which a little background is pressed. This is a complex micro blog: entry writing, photo, video and audio sharing, linking etc.. You can collect followers and you can follow anyone. You can reblog and indicate, if you like an entry. A few days ago the Knicks launched its own Tumblelog.http://newyorkknicks.tumblr.com/Do you know the Tumblr?Do you know any teams that shared content on Tumblr?See More

It's Barna's page! SM 2.0!

Greetings from Hungary!

Hi everyone! I am a Hungarian member. In Hungary there aren't those attitudes and methods, that are with you there. My aim is to introduce the new concepts and terminology at home as well.

I'm sorry, but my English is slightly worn. I try to be perfect again.

Best Regards,

Barna

Hi everyone!

I have successfully activated the Google translator, so sometimes you can read my blog. Maybe I will write a post or two a week. There are other things these days. For example, I applied for the position of Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation's marketing and PR manager. Although I am young and have a little routine, but also a highly motivated and energetic. I hope I will be successful and get the job!

I put up links to my blog such as Jason's and Pat's blog. And I put up a quote too from Brian Solis, he says:

"Listening is marketing.

Participation is marketing.

Media is marketing.

Conversations are marketing.

Comments are marketing."

This is the slogan now.

Regards,

Barna

We are looking for a limited number of knowledgeable, high use fantasy players to beta test a new fantasy tool.

It is a site, tool and app to organize your teams and have one portal to view all live scoring pages. There will be 2 additional gaming elements to follow during the coming months.  It will cover the four major sports in addition to nascar and golf.  The soft launch for the site is August and the app will be available in September.

It might take an hour of your time to grasp the functionality and any feedback would be appreciated.  You will also receive an entry into our inagural $50,000 suicide pool.

Regards,

Curtis

Steelers vs. Cowboys in social media co-opetition

Finally, two sports teams that get it! The Steelers face the Cowboys this Sunday in Dallas, and thanks to some clever work by each team’s digital crews, the franchises are competing in social media spheres as well. Steelers & Cowboys are evenly matched in both realms. Both teams have 7-6 records this season, and they’re [...]

Email Power Rankings for MLB teams

How did E mail become the “other” white meat? While everyone is going crazy over social media, I suspect Email is getting overlooked and underutilized by many professional sports teams. With this suspicion on my brain I set out recently to do a little research using baseball teams as my subjects. The results of my [...]

College sports fans blame carriers for poor connectivity at stadiums

Want to get your wireless partner to pay for connectivity upgrades at your stadium? Show them this… ….Ninety-nine percent of smart phone owners have experienced trouble calling or connecting at sports stadiums, and (as a result) sixty-eight percent of these fans think less positively about their wireless carriers. That’s right, fans don’t blame the team [...]

College fans like Twitter more than Facebook for sports

If America’s major universities want to engage avid sports fans during live events, they should pay more attention to Twitter than Facebook, and they should forget about Foursquare altogether; At least what our data seem to be saying. As part of our ongoing “Social Sports Poll,” we recently surveyed social media fans and followers of [...]
