Hi Dan -- While I don't use Twitter as an academician, I think you would find it to be a great way to meet your goals. I suggest the best ways to figure out how you can share your information is to read tweets of other professionals. Watch and lear…

Sports and music are as compatible as any pair in history. They both appeal to our sense of fun and leisure... Music has the ability to ramp up the excitement of any game. It's a wonderful, mutually beneficial marriage.

Hi Gail,
One example of how the Flimp Platform is used in sports:
The WTA (Women's Tennis Assoc.) has used Flimp to send eVideo "Player Profiles) to their email database. Trying to get fans more familiar with their players beyond the Williams sisters, Safina, Sharapova, etc.
One of Flimp's new investors is Pat Croce, former owner of the Philadelphia 76er's. Needless to say, the 76er's are now a client, and will use our Platform to communicate with season ticket holders, luxury suite owners, etc.
More examples at www.flimp.net
Thanks,
Terry Whelan

I'm a personal publicist and social media coach, however my niche is sports.
It is good to connect with someone who provides the same type of service.
Let's stay in touch.

Hi Gail,
I learned a lot on your website.
I'd be curious what you think of our platform?
Can you think of applications in sports publicity?
Thanks,
Terry

MyColts.net members throw a party…and team joins in Just saw this photo on MyColts.net. It was taken at a pre-season party organized by MyColts.net members on the eve of the home opener. Several Colts staffers were in the house giving away prizes (and even some game tickets) to the fans. Many of these fans came from [...]
